Alaska Coastal Outfitters - Flight & Hotel Information

Flight Information
Commercial air service to Southeast Alaska is provided by Alaska Airlines. Alaska Airlines is consistently ranked as one of this country's leading airlines in customer service and we are glad to have them in our area. Their web page is:  www.alaskaair.com

Each year Alaska Airlines has their annual "PFD Sale" in October. This an excellent time to purchase airline tickets for the following year.

Our black bear hunters and a few of our brown bear hunters will begin and/or end their hunts in the native village of Kake, on Kuprenof Island. For these hunters, they will fly to Juneau on the day prior to their hunt, overnight in Juneau, and then fly the next morning to Kake on Alaska Seaplanes. These reservations can be made at: www.flyalaskaseaplanes.com

The Alaska Seaplanes counter in Juneau is in the Juneau Airport downstairs. In Kake, they have a courtesy van to take you from the Kake airport to our boat. Be sure to check with them prior to your trip to find out how much baggage you can bring without paying for "overweight".
